Adapted: Influenced Black Preface

Generation after generation, gene after gene we were created in his like-ness. No matter what our foundation is there is still a chance to be molded or brain washed into something never before seen in your genealogy. Your life makes twisted and turns to be influenced by people and situations. We weren't born knowing how to deal with situations and we can't possibly know how to handle something we've never experienced. We must rely on our morals and beliefs. Its our parents job to instill a sense of right and wrong a sense of how to operate in society. They are somewhat the model of what we believe in and how we live our life. When parents fail, life picks up the slack fast and hard. That's where the community comes in. I was raised in a generation that the majority was raised by the community. We are in every sense of the phrase a "Product of Our Environment". Mom and dad just weren't around. Whether it be work or just life pulling them away from their family. TV was a major influence in molding our generations to what it is. It was just easier to sit kids in front of the TV. And the next generation will be raised by cell phones and the internet. This is not a bash parents and tell people how to raise their kids. This is just a story about a child who was raised in an environment that wasn’t particularly the one he was born in. In 1985 on the 13th day of the 2nd month 2 children were born in a Nebraska town called Omaha. In the next five years there would be neglect abuse and adoption. A very interesting and maybe inspiring story but this is not about that. This is the story of one of the two. How a boy became and man, with all that was placed in front of him? ”Classic Nature vs. Nurture”. How does a child grow into the adult they were supposed to be when they are displaced from the nurturing personalities that complement the genes within? This story is how a child adapted. This is how a child is Influenced Black

This is a series that has been in the making for about 5 year. I didn’t really know how I wanted to do it until I started my secret blog about 4 months ago I decided that I wanted to post excretes on-line for peoples enjoyment. Weather it gets read or not I wanted to do this for me and the society that I live in. In our community and society Black men get this horrible rap of being “Dead beat dads” “robbers” “Thieves” “Murderers” and more. That may be the case for some but we are all shouldn’t be categorized as such. In my life where my parents failed to teach me and pretty much dropped me off I was influenced by a whole city of people. But what really made the impact in my life were the men I came across They would molded me into the person I am today. Not all the people who are in this series are particularly great role models nor are they experts at life. But they always showed me love. The best way to honor a person that has influenced you is just by living your life and this is just another way for me to thank them for showing the right direction to go. This will be a series of entries in chapters that I will be posting every now and then with no real particular schedule of being posted. If I get people who really are enjoying it then later I will make a schedule but for right now I’ll just be posting them as I write them.
